This new adaptation tells the story of Beatriz Aurora Rincon Lozano, an intelligent and skilled young Latina living in New York, who after six months of being rejected in multiple job interviews due to her lack of attractiveness, decides to accept a position below her qualifications. She then lands a job at V&M Fashion as secretary to the company president.

Her little sense of fashion will make her fall victim of ridicule and humiliation putting her self-esteem in check, as she finds herself surrounded by models and beautiful women.
